Self-serve an API key

Signed in? Mint a key here (the raw key is shown ONCE). Pick the least scopes you need.

readread List and inspect jobs, plans, assets, and billing. Safe, non-mutating — grant this to any monitoring or read-only agent. renderrender Submit production jobs and trigger renders. This is the scope that spends — it can incur compute and model costs. editedit Mutate plans, timelines, and assets — decompose scenes, resolve SFX, and compile masters. Pair with render for a full pipeline agent. adminadmin Manage account keys (create, rotate, revoke). Required to mint keys from here. Grant sparingly — it is the most privileged scope.

Quickstart

Two minutes from key to first call. Authenticate every request with the X-API-Key header — the same key you mint above. Set HAWKES_API_KEY in your shell, then:

curl shell

Returns a job id you can poll. The first call is a real render submission.

No pip package is needed — the example above is plain requests and sends the X-API-Key header itself. For a typed wrapper, drop the single-file helper studio_client.py into your project and import studio_client.
